Freeze when opening map

Got a bit of an odd issue, I'm doing the dragonborn quest and I've just gotten to Solsthiem and every time I open the map inside a cave with rieklings my game just freezes on a black screen. I can open it outside with no issues and in a couple of the houses where you first land on solsthiem. Anyone else experience this? Really weird.... I'm level 58 with no issues until now btw. I don't have any mods that alter the map.

EDIT: Also happening in Skaal Village interiors......this is weird....I'm gonna re-check the starting area interiors and see if it happens.
