BlackWolf18C
I'm trying to get a new (custom) ammo type to use the "9v Battery" skin that is the default for the "Fission Battery(s)" as the projectile art. I've extracted the skin's .nif file, as well as the effect .nif for the explosion I want it to make, from the Fallout3.esp file using the FOMM .BSA extraction tool, but when I try to tell the G.E.C.K. to use those files I get a message saying "Invalid Directory". Not sure how to proceed, and I'm a little new to game modding. Any help would be very appreciated.

Make sure that the .nif files are placed somewhere in a subfolder to the Data folder, as the "invalid directory" is trypically something that I at least experience when trying to mod stuff that isn't placed in the correct folder structure in the Data subfolder structure. Basically make sure your .nifs are somewhere in a subfolder to the meshes folder and the textures somewhere in a subfolder to the textures folder - the GECK can be really pissy about where you place your files as I think some of the paths are hardcoded into it rather than something you can define youself. Other than that I don't really know what could be wrong.
