SpeedyB64
I haven't played oblivion for a while and heard of a obse mod that fixed a memory problem that caused oblivion to lag after a while. I can't remember the name of it and am having a hard time finding it.

The mod I think you are talking about, streamline, doesn't really solve any problems. What I mean is that the mod works to hide and diminish certain ones at certain times by making constant adjustments to game settings, the .ini file, and other game internals. For most, yeah, this equates to getting better performance, but for others, usually because of improper use or configuration, it can make things worse. SpeedyB64
Ok thanks. I guess I will have to get a better processor at some point then. Fallout works better but I hope the next Elder Scrolls fixes some of the memory issues.
SpeedyB64
Found what I was looking for. Its called Streamline. It uses OBSE to clear the memory more often. It works great! My computer can run oblivion without masive ammounts of stutering. It takes a huge load of the single core it was runing on and now it runs better than Fallout 3. If your video card is not very good it will not do much but if you have a lower end dual core (1.8 ghz duo) or not much RAM it will make it run much better.
