Simniac
This mod is about allowing the prophecy on ending the tyranny of the sun forever to fruition. However, it can only be done after you're finished with the Dawnguard vampire quest line and only if you're a vampire. The sky/weather will remain the same in both night and day (the same sky/weather as when you shoot a bloodcursed elven arrow at the sun), that way it'd probably get the least amount of bugs (I'm really clueless about such things so I don't know for sure, give a comment if you know about such things) and it'd be the most realistic choice imo. The long version: To begin this, you need have Auriel's Bow, find one (or two if you plan on killing both Serana and Valerica) elven arrows called a 'Coldharbour Blood Arrow' that is strong enough to kill Serana and/or Valerica, use Auriel's Bow with those Coldharbour Blood Arrows to kill Serana and/or Valerica, loot that Coldharbour Blood Arrow from their corpse and shoot it at the sun (it's REALLY crucial that you do not miss the sun since you only have one Coldharbour Blood Arrow that killed Serana (or two if you killed both Serana and Valerica), so save before you do it!).This sky/weather will last until you shoot a sunhallowed elven arrow at the blocked out sun that will reverse the effect and set the night and day sky back to normal. It is possible to end the tyranny of the sun again, however, since Serana and/or Valerica will be dead, you will not be able to end the tyranny of the sun again unless you killed both Serana and Valerica and you still have that additional Coldharbour Blood Arrow that killed one of them (unless you use console commands to get more Coldharbour Blood Arrows (see below)).The Coldharbour Blood Arrow looks like an elven arrow though it is powerful enough to kill Serana and/or Valerica in one singe shot on each of them and it'd be possible to add them by using an available console command id, whatever console command id that's available. The Coldharbour Blood Arrows should each be in a dungeon filled with high level vampires and other high level undead, at the very end of it, in a master locked chest. The Coldharbour Blood Arrows should have no effect on the sun before it is used to kill Serana and/or Valerica and only damage effect on other enemies, and they should always be available to loot from Serana and/or Valerica's corpse, and, if possible, add an extra name or symbol or something on them that shows if they have been used to kill Serana and/or Valerica or not. Each Coldharbour Blood Arrow should only be able to work on either Serana or Valerica so you must find both of them to kill them both and be able to end the tyranny of the sun twice. You'll also face much larger groups of Dawnguards when you're out in the wild. The shorter version: To begin this, you need to have Auriel's Bow and an elven arrow and kill Serana and/or Valerica with them (make sure it causes instant death), loot those arrows from their corpses and shoot one of them at the sun to end the tyranny of the sun forever, until you shoot a sunhallowed elven arrow on the blocked out sun to reverse the process, and whenever you feel like it, shoot the last elven arrow that killed Serana or Valerica until you feel like shooting another sunhallowed elven arrow at the blocked out sun to reverse the process one last time. You'll also face much larger groups of Dawnguards when you're out in the wild.
Grinningbarrett
I'm not a modder and I don't know anything about modding, but Talos guide you in your efforts. This is how Dawnguard SHOULD HAVE BEEN!!! I always wondered why they wouldn't add some kind of alternate, darker quest line to allow you to complete the prophecy, instead of offering a weak 24-hour version of it in consolation.
