Arjela
Hello :smile:I am a total noob in the field so it is possible that what I am about to write will sound like a bunch of nonsense, but I had to give it a try. I am very fond of languages and wanted to play the game in Russian - which I speak at a pretty good level. As you know, Russian uses the cyrillic alphabet, but I have noticed it is way easier for me to memorize new vocabulary when I see it written with Latin letters. For this reason, I'd love to know if there is any way I can extract all the Russian text files (dialogues, tooltips, bestiary, descriptions and so on) and transliterate them (I will deal witht his part, I have a very cool program that instantly turns any cyrillic letter to its latin equivalent) and obviously implement them back in the game. I downloaded The Witcher 3 through Steam and I noticed that any time I change language of the game, Steam has to re-download what I believe is a new language pack, so - I gather - it should not be that hard for anyone who has a knack for such things to spot where all these language files are (you guys! :D ). Does what I am saying make any sense? Is it possible to do something like this?In case it is and you wish to provide me with an explanation, I BEG YOU, be clear please and do not use abbreviations xD Be as clear as you would be with a baby, a step-to-step guide would me much appreciated :smile:Thank you! Edited June 28, 2021 by Arjela
