SigurdAndGudrun
I am trying to create some randomly occurring conversations between Npcs, but I'm having some trouble getting them to actually occur. I am trying to troubleshoot this, but one issue I'm having is that random conversations occur so infrequently. Are there any tricks that can be used to encourage npcs to talk to each other? maxarturo
You need to create 'Scenes' between npcs and conditional those scenes.
SigurdAndGudrun
Sorry, I'm a bit confused, and may have worded the post poorly. For example, let's take the random conversation that occurs between Carlotta and Nazeem in the marketplace, where he calls her goods disappointing. If I made a change to their dialogue and then wanted to see the conversation play out to assure that it's working, what is the best way to do that? Is it just to wait in the marketplace and hope it occurs?
maxarturo
I've never looked into it and i don't know what are the 'Conditions' added to their scene to provide a correct answer, but the frequency of their interaction depends purely on the conditions added to the scene. Back up before doing this: Start by looking at the 'Conditions' of the scene, and either remove them all or add your own to see if your dialogue is firing. Conditions allow the manipulation of a scene to fire once in a while or as soon as the cell or npcs are loaded, it all depends of how it's all set up. Have a happy modding.
