Have you tried verifying cache through Steam yet?

Well no (I did it some time ago, but not in the last week), and I don't want to since i have cleaned the update and dlc packs with TES5EDIT. Plus i have some custom ini settings i want to keep.

I also believe that the CTDs/crashes are caused by either a fauly load order or a mod thats not compatible with another mod.

Well... here's what I can tell you:

Move the ini files to somewhere safe as a backup, then when you verify integrity, you can just replace them after the fact. Also... we can't rule out the fact that the ini tweaks you made aren't causing this.

As far as cleaning the DLC's and Update... if I had to guess, it'd take about 10 minutes to re-clean them.

My opinion:

1. Backup ini's to a safe location.

2. Verify Cache.

3. Try the game.

4. If it CTD's we know it has something to do with your mods.

5. If it doesn't, reload your ini's from backup.

6. If it CTD's, we know it has to do with your ini's.

7. If it doesn't, we know that verifying cache fixed your problem.

8. Re-clean the DLC's and Update.

That's what I would do, otherwise, I don't know where else to go from here. You need to try the stupid simple stuff, that people overlook that often actually fixes the problems.
