Decayz
I seemed to have notice a problem that had occurred to me some time in the past, because that same problem has shown up once more in my new playthrough. What I thought was a computer problem turns out to what I think is a memory leak in my Fallout New Vegas. Now, I've come to notice the longer I play my Fallout, when my hours start piling the lag starts to show up, from minor, to moderate, to major, to 1 fps can't do a single thing if I tried. The first time this occured with my last playthrough I had given up hope and I deleted my game, and ultimately memory wiped my laptop and did a whole system reset. I reinstalled FNV and its mods, and started once more on my current playthrough, and just yesterday after finishing Beyond Boulder Dome, I noticed the unbearable lag had once again plagued me. I did my research around trying to find the fix to my problem, apparently there's nothing that can fix this after it has happened. So I went back to a save 10 hours ago. Viola! It's better. I had left my computer running with FNV open before and apparently that is the result. However I thought this was fixed in a patch by Bethesda. So why is this happening to me? Is it not a memory leak? and if it is, is there some fix I can make to prevent future problems as such?
