I put a custom item into Skyrim and you can see it just fine in menus, while wearing it and while it it on the ground yet when you pull it out of the sheath and attack it does not render. I am new to this and have no clue how to fix it.

This is because it has no world mesh or texture. You need to add one for it to appear. Additionally what kind of item are you creating? and what is it meant to look like?

Its a dagger. Also, if there is no world mesh/texture why is it I can see it while its on my hip and on the ground? Is that a different thing? If so where do I pit them? Because I did not see any other areas to put them.

Well if you can see it on your hip and on the floor than it isn't a missing world mesh. Can you see it drawn in third person? Also did you make it from scratch or duplicate a dagger and edit it?

Well then your missing a first person texture. I'm not that good with texturing so I recommend looking at some tutorials on how to make A custom weapon.

PS out of curiosity, did you make your own texture/mesh? or is it vanilla?

Hurts my eyes when someone is talking with wrong terms.

missing TEXTURE would make the weapon purple, which is not the case here.

Missing MESH would cause either invisibility or red triangle .

You are missing first person version of the mesh, that's why it is not visible.

Go to the window where you created the weapon, in one of tabs there's something called "first person" or such. (Really CK, y u no work without Skyrim? Can't inspect things I'd love to know)

Anyhow, you need to create the first person version of the mesh. This can be done in > Miscelleneous > static

Search with 1st for example, you should see tons of other first person meshes. Open one, change ID, set the correct path for mesh, OK

Go to weapon window and link the path to it.
