Stakado ENB w/out SSAO or DOF halving my fps

I'm having trouble with the Stakado Realism ENB Option C. First off, I have a fairly beefy computer, so the normal SSAO shouldn't be to much of a performance hit, seeing as how I sit at 60fps+ in vanilla Skyrim, but even when switching to option D, which has no SSAO or DOF, ENB still halves my framerate from 60 to 32, and seems to keep it there no matter what. A friend suggested I try the injector version instead of the wrapper, so I deleted the d3d9.dll from the Skyrim main folder, ran the injector before booting the game, but the ENB information doesn't show in the upper left and the ENB effects aren't showing either. Checked to make sure the enbinjector.ini was pointing to SkyrimLauncher.exe and tesv.exe, which it is, so I'm at a total loss here. Any help would be much appreciated.

Don't forget to turn off all AO/AA options on driver level, and don't forget ENB uses Software rendering, not Hardware - so yes, it has a huge performance impact. I run on a GTX680/4GB and I pull~40-50FPS outside using ENB with all the goodies turned on.
