EpicRandomGuy
This is just a weird thing that I've been curious about for a while now. No matter what mods, graphic or otherwise, I install to my game, the FPS never changes. Ever. I have a pretty low end laptop, a Dell M5040, so I can understand that it doesn't go up. But it never goes down either, so I can put in as many HD mods as I want, and I never get purple textures or a real drop in performance, it just randomly jumps around (constantly) between 10-20 FPS.Also, mods like Skryim Project Optimization don't provide and performance boosts. I'm doing it right, I see the differences in game, and .ini tweaks have given me performance boosts before. Really I'm just curious as to why mods don't change my performance. Any ideas? Nudedragon
Your performance is low due to something other than your GPU, and your GPU can handle the textures you're downloading. Thus, your performance is low, but not being impacted by texture replacers.
EpicRandomGuy
How come performance mods don't affect it?
prod80
Because it's still not related to whatever is slowing it down... maybe your HDD, maybe your RAM, maybe your VRAM speed... but your GPU pulls whatever you put at it... when you cross your GPU's possibilities then youll start to see your FPS drop further.
