radud Posted March 12, 2009 Share Posted March 12, 2009 not sure if this is an issue with the mod or fallou 3 in general, but I was exploring the republic of dave, and after awhile all my last 6 saves or so would crash on loading, or crash when using the pipboy, or changing zones. I removed all mods, and the saves worked. I added the nanosuit back, and saves were broken again. I finally found a save far back enough, and deleted my newer ones, and so far so good. Obviously the saves somehow got corrupted, either because of the mod, or the corruption only caused a crash when the mod was loaded. very hard to tell. But it is working now, and I'll just be careful with my saves. Sorry, but I didn't quite get what the Readme was talking about. Does it mean I can get two abilities so long as I don't exit the pipboy in between? Like, equip one suit, use it's buff, then equip the other and use that to get the double buff, all without exiting the pipboy? Or does it simply mean I cannot use two powers in a row, or stack them? What is the restriction you are trying to impose, and when it says I lose one of the interfaces, does that mean permanently, or only until the suit recharges? Does the suit recharge when I'm not wearing it? Thanks a bunch, and once again, this is truly an awesome mod. Easily the best of the admittedly few I've tried so far. I'd freaking buy this over the official DLC :thanks: Ok, let give an example, maybe it will help clarify things. You put on both suits. Both the “nanoArmorInterfave” and the “SNanonArmor Interface” show up on your items menu in PIPboy. You select one and pick Max strength, exit menu you here the voice “max strength” then right away you go back to menu. Select “max damage” exit you here voice. Now you have both. OK no problem. Few seconds later, the suits power down you here the prompts. Few seconds after that, the suits begin to power up. You hear the prompts. When the suits are completely powered up you hear suit online prompts. Look in the pip menu, and there are your interfaces. Scenario 2: Activate max damage. Few second pass suit is about to power down or has just powered down. You click on the other interface and activate another power. It will work, but when suits power up you will get both interface back but when you click on them you lose one. You never get it back see. This will not break the mod or the game. Both interfaces do the same thing and the powers are the same, but now you only have one interface so no combining the powers and it may or may not mess with the immersion of the mod since now you only have one interface for both suits, instead of one for each. Listen in my opinion the suits are overpowered as it is. If the player was able to spam the powers one after the other alternating between the two interfaces the game would be pointless. I’m actually going to release a more balanced version for people that prefer it in a couple of days along with the leg fix for the female suit.
