notice 3 and 2 thats how they were before then i downloaded mod manager and extracted the files from the BSA as its called (i remember resident evil 4 having this you had to extract the files before you could put the modded files in) so i was like eh thats prolly how it is but i never installed any mods i wanted to test it without mods before i tried with mods then this happened when i started the game

You do not need to extract any bsa files if you are only going to use other people's mods.

Extracting those files is only ever any use if you plan on making your own mods.

i see even though i put the files in there my manual text file editng of the fallout3.ini did not work i used the invalidation exe. thingy and works fine sorry for the time i've wasted

You sound very confused.

binvalidateolderfiles is done in the Fallout.ini which is found MyDocuments/MyGames/Fallout3

ArchiveInvalidation is a txt file for textures that goes in your Fallout 3 main folder but ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated is a program that does this for you (you seem to have found that).

Unfortunately your lack of punctuation makes your posts very hard to decipher.

If you ever have any other questions about Fallout may I suggest working on that side of things first. Just some friendly tips.

I'm glad it's all working now though.
