Blaquestone Posted July 5, 2021 Share Posted July 5, 2021 Vortex is installed on my C drive, where I want it. I have my Steam games on an SSD/D drive, where I want them. The "Vortex Mods" staging folder is also on my D drive, where I believe it needs to be. With a mod enabled, and deploying the mod, UAC pops up and I allow Vortex permissions. I see the mod appear in my steamapps>common>7 Days To Die>Mods folder, but with the ZZZZ which denotes, if I remember rightly, the mod is disabled. This is using Symlink Deployment. When using Hardlink, no UAC screen, but the mod still appears with the ZZZZ. Both cases, the mod is not active in my game. Have I missed something? I've never been quite good with these sorts of things... Checked the FAQs and browsed the support after Googling for answers. Couldn't find anything close enough to what I'm seeing to figure out any other fix.EDIT: I should add that I had all this working previously, but I had to reinstall my OS and I'm trying to get everything back together. I'd had some help setting up Vortex originally, so I'm guessing I've missed a setting somewhere, or maybe I needed to download some peripheral component? I really can't remember...
