Unable to absorb (most) dragon souls

Yes, I am aware of the many "Cannot absorb dragon soul" posts, don't bother redirecting me.
K, I'm unable to absorb most dragon souls. I can't absorb souls from named dragons and Legendary, Revered, Ancient, Blood, etc dragons. There isn't even any "burning up" animation. Nothing. The only dragons I can absorb souls from are a few normal dragons.
I've tried absolutely everything to fix this. Literally everything. I've reinstalled skyrim completely without any mods or DLCs and started a new game, I've installed the latest version of the USKP, along with the Unofficial Dragonborn Patch after I installed Dragonborn, and I've only found dragonactorscript.psc and mqkilldragonscript.psc instead of .pex. Deleted them, no change.

I'm in the same boat as you. I've tried almost everything

 

Edit: I am a fool! Somehow I overlooked the dragonactorscript.pex file. I had tried to find it, but clearly missed it. You're supposed to delete it.

I know how you feel still, it's taken me hours and hours, research included. As it turns out, I just missed something. Make sure you didn't miss anything either. Write out the steps you took, and try again - that seemed to help me.

Glad you fixed the problem!
I did exactly as you said. I literally spent two days researching and trying different things. Nothing worked. Eventually, I gave up and tried reformating windows. Haha, everything works now.~
