Slew
Hey, Since upgrading my computer a few months ago, I haven't been able to get surround sound working in Fallout. In fact, I'm not even getting stereo.Obviously mono is absolutely terrible with a 5.1 speaker setup, so I've been using my headphones while I look for a solution. On my old computer, surround sound worked flawlessly with a generic 5.1 Creative card.On my new computer, I am using the 7.1 onboard sound instead of a dedicated card, and I'm wondering if this is the problem? No other games have any issues with 5.1 though, so I don't want to accidently break everything else if it's just a bug in Fallout. The game is patched and fully up-to-date, as are my sound drivers. Any help is appreciated.
