[LE] [HELP] making a BIG Follower mod featuring a Bosmer Werewolf child

Hello! I am making my first ever follower mod for Skyrim! (Well, the first one I plan to complete- I have attempted this twice before but never completed them) I am needing some help with some things I wish to add to my character, but have no clue how to do them- I cannot find any tutorials telling how to add the listed things into my character (And why would I? the things I am wanting are too specific to have tutorials). I want the main thing with my follower to be his Lycanthropy as I don't see too many werewolf follower mods.

 

Here is what I am wanting to add (My follower is named "Dakota", so when Dakota is typed, I am referring to my follower. Strikethrough = things ive already gotten figured out):

  • Dakota is a werewolf.

 

  • Dakota can be the Players "Forebear" if the player has a high enough relationship with him and the Player is not already a werewolf.

 

  • Dakota can be asked to "Play Fetch!" (To which he will grumble about the wording); but this brings up a dialogue tree where you can ask Dakota to find things- Examples would be Keys, Levers to doors, Food, Weapons, Arrows, Armor, etc.. if there are multiple levers with multiple doors, Dakota will ask "Lever to which door?" and this will tell the player to select the door (Like how you can tell a follower to do something with the "I need you to do something" then you can click the activation key on things to tell them to pick up/steal/attack/ etc etc). I have seen this done with the "Useful Dogs" mod but have no clue how to do it. (I Have an idea how to achieve this but I have to wait until I have permission to use some other files before I start on this)

 

  • The option to cure him if the player has a high enough reputation with Dakota

 

  • Wolves will not attack the Player is Dakota is following

 

  • A "Hunt" request- The player can ask Dakota to hunt for food, hide, or both (selected Via dialogue branch), and this will trigger Dakota to run off and hunt the wildlife around in that cell (Dakota will not attack horses, dogs, etc). until you tell him to stop with a "Silver Bell" (Kind of like Inigo's whistle, Luciens resonant sphere or Kaidan's warhorn- This Silver bell (an actual item in the "Misc" section of the inventory) will ring and can be used to summon him, or stop him from hunting or "Fetching" if the player is crouching)

 

  • The option to adopt him, and have Dakota return to the Players home when not needed (Dakota is planned to be a preteen- age somewhere between 12-15 as I haven't decided what I want him to be yet). Once you adopt him you can play Tag, Hide and seek, tell him to clean, cook (Which Dakota will give the player a HomeCooked Meal next time the player talks to him) or Hunt (Same as the "Hunt" bulletpoint) and interact with other children the Player has adopted- Dakota will not count towards the players adopted children count, allowing for 3 children at once. Decided he will be 14- figured out how to set an adoption thing, now I just have to get it to where you can only adopt him after completing his quests and having a high enough relationship with him.

 

  • Custom werewolf textures and model. I could try to learn to do these myself, or I can find someone who DOES know how to make models/textures and request/pay them to make it for me. I want his werewolf appearance to be almost pup-like, with young features and small, scrawny stature. (By young features, I mean things like a short snout, smaller, perky ears and wide eyes: like how actual wolf pups would be). His fur is to match his hair (Auburn) with custom markings (have yet to draw up a reference). Since in his lore, he is the bastard son of a werewolf leader in Valenwood, he had adopted a kind of spotty/piebald pattern on his fur due to his fathers red hair and mothers white fur.

 

there will probably be tons more later on, as I want him to be a very in-depth character- I plan to give him his own quests, his own horse, his own follower framework, etc etc. I am following Joseph Russell's tutorial series on YouTube to get most of the basic stuff down, along with the quests and such- But i really need help figuring out the werewolf stuff, how to get the fetch command to work, the randomized outcome after defeating him, the models/textures, and all that fun stuff. i know its too much for my first mod, but I don't plan for this to be just a simple mod and move onto the next- I want Dakota to be a big project, one that I will update constantly and keep tract of, not just a "Okay its published now to never mess with it again". I will keep expanding him and adding to him: I wish for him to be as big as Inigo or Lucien someday. this doesn't have to all come out on initial release- but I want the listed things to be there eventually. If anyone can point me in the right direction on how to get started with this though I will be incredibly grateful! anything helps, whether is a video tutorial, typed tutorial, etc.
