moriz
for shits a giggles, i created a sniper rifle that shoots railway spikes. in order to make the spikes travel faster so it can actually hit something, i went to the spikes entry and changed its speed to 100... unfortunately, my spikes still travel at their old speed. so is there a way to make certain ammo times travel faster? thanks in advance. BlackWolf18C
What you should do, is make another "Projectile" file and make it so that your rifle uses that projectile instead of the standard railway spike one. Just make the new projectile use the railway spike's model (.nif) file and set the speed there to 10,000(the standard for bullet firing guns). For some reason, the speed you set for the weapon seems to have no effect on the ammunition speed itself. So in short, the speed bullets (or anything approximating bullets) travel at is dependent on the projectile file, not the weapon file. Hope this helps you!
