lolbifron Posted June 28, 2013 Share Posted June 28, 2013 (edited) I started a new game, configured all my settings and mods how I like them, leveled up twice, and noticed that every PN rebalance setting I changed that had the opportunity to happen in my game didn't. I can only assume that none of the rebalance changes took effect, even though the MCM allowed me to configure the mod. The changes I tried to make but noticed weren't functioning were changing the points per tag skill to [0, 2] from [15, 1] (but it skill gave me 15 for tagging and only one skill point per point invested) and changing levels per perk to 1 (but when I hit level 3 I still didn't get a perk). I rely on rebalance to get rid of leveled damage, auto aim, condition damage reduction, sneak meter, karma messages, etc. as well as to do a few other things that are important to how I play. For anyone else in the same boat, the offending mod is New Vegas Realistic Battle and Dynamic Combat - Project Nevada Compatibility Patch Alpha 2. You can still install this mod and have rebalance work if you disable pnvprojectnevadarebalance.esp, but if you have that esp enabled it breaks rebalance completely. I'm not sure what conflicts will arise between the mods without the compatibility patch, but I'm sure they'll be less severe than disabling functionality completely.
