Dynamic trap effects

Traps are boring. This is known.

There's already a plethora of mods that attempt to 'fix' this with base damage increases to all traps.

Now traps are just annoying.

 

 

What I propose is a set of effects to be given to many trap types to make them more realistic, dangerous, and downright brutal.

 

Spike traps (and other large, spiked, movable objects) should stick to ragdolls and cause bleeding.

I attempted to implement this myself and got marginal success with gate doors

If done correctly-

Getting hit with a swinging spike wall will leave you hanging like an autopsied frog.

Swinging pendulum axes will stick and flail you to death across the walls and floors

Gate doors will crush and impale you.

Wall and floor impaling rods will impale you, lift you off your feet, then scrap you off as they retract

 

Other effects would include-

Dropping battering rams/mammoth heads/chain flails would cause a knockdown (Could be jury rigged by giving them a half-second paralysis poison)

Frost traps causing the destro freeze perk effect

Bear traps cause a powerful slow effect (cripple animations from fallout?)

Dwemer roflcopter traps could cause the horizontal corpse split (if the user has that mod installed)
