Level Scaling Enchants

I'm currently looking into creating enchants that scale in strength as your skill in a specific area.

 

For Example:

A poison Enchant for weapons based on Alchemy skill level

 

skill level 1-10 does X damage

 

Skill level 2-20 does XX damage

 

So on and so forth. I've seen something similar to this http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=57310039. I am very new to modding of any kind, but am interested in getting this started. I'm looking forward to making several enchants for various slots. If anyone has any advice or tips they are very much appreciated. I will update this post later once I have more details, examples, etc.

 

ALSO, if anyone isn't so much in a teaching/helping mood, but is interested in doing something like this I do not mind whatsoever and would like to help supply ideas, etc.

Hmmm doing it by skill level could be tough to figure out how to do.

On the other hand, using conditions on the enchantment to have different effects activate so long as the player is the appropriate level is fairly easily doable.

 

That way for example you could have a fire spell that at lvl 1-5 would be a small flare, 6-10 would turn to firebolt, 10-15 would become fireball, 15-20....

you get the idea.

 

Honestly by using player levels as opposed to skill levels, the enchantment/poison would scale with enemies better.
