Can't access Skyrim or Oblivion Nexus sites

Last night I was browsing Oblivion Nexus and eventually nothing would load for me, all I was greeted with was the "Cannot connect" Google Chrome page, I went and checked that the site was online through a status checking site. I didn't bother trying to fix it and went off. This morning it was still unavailable (and currently still is), and later on in the day I went onto the Skyrim nexus instead and I'm having the exact same issue.

 

I've switched my DNS server over to the google ones, and still cannot connect. Any help would be appreciated.

 

EDIT: Just used a proxy and could access the site, albeit extremely stripped down. Not sure what's going on.

I'm dealing with the same problem, except it's Oblivion and New Vegas for me. Did you try downloading anything manually before the non-connection happened? What was the last page? I tried downloading FOMM manually and none of the servers worked before the website outright wouldn't connect. That was yesturday. Today it just let me connect again a few minutes ago. I tried downloading FOMM again and the same **** happened :/.

 

I think it has something to do with the manual server list thingy.

I have been trying to access the skyrim nexus also and it wont let me connect to the website.. Odly enough I can access the website from my ipad
