Can't get tree mods to show up...how do I DL them/need special mods?

Here is my load order...

 

skyrim.esm

update.esm

Dawnguard.esm

Hearthfires.esm

Dragonborn.esm

USSEP.esp

AS...Live Another Life.esp

Verdant.esp

Veydosebrom Regions.esp

 

So I start a new game...but there are just vanilla grasses, etc. when I go outside. Never anything the bottom two mods advertise. I notice there are ini files for verdant, verydosebrom, LAL, and USSEP, which I put into

Users/Documents/My Games/Skyrim Special Edition. So what exactly am I doing wrong? Everything looks so damn vanilla...I feel like I am eating ice cream. HELP! SOS!
