Help with Followers and scripting

Hi everyone... Hum, well, let's get down to it!

I use Jessi or Mika (and Dogmeat) as followers. Works good untill I start a shootout and kill my companion's target (Edited: It seems to happen even if she shoots someone...). Then, she just stands there with a huge big smile (shooting pose I think?) and until I go talk to her, she'll stay there like a stone... (And since there is a lot of shootouts... :)

Now after some tests, it seems that the problem is scriptwise... The OnCombatEnd doesn't seems to be called (that, when the combat ends of course!). To test it, I simply fired Mika when the combat ends... When in this "pose" mode, she doesn't get fired... So, it's like, she doesn't exit the "in combat" script until you go talk to her...

Now, I'm just starting doing some little tinkering with Fallout 3 but I don't really know where to start with this problem... I just want my followers to keep following me!

If anyone could help, it would be appreciated greatly!

P.S. It seems that there is a line in the fallout3.ini that doesn't like to be modified... bBackgroundLoadLipFiles= . It was =1 (I checked a guide for performance) but setting it to 0 clears 99.9% of the problem! Nice! Thanks Maedhros_the_6th (another forum!) :)

You maybe could use the "StopCombat" Function somehow. I guess the script runs on your companion, so of course OnCombatEnd isn't called, coz your Companion is still in combat mode. So the game think, combat is still running for her.
