[MOD Request] Better rain effect

It would be nice if someone would take care of the rain effect.

In VR you see so little of the raindrops, even when it's raining heavily, that you have to look twice to get a sense of it.

 

A little more work will certainly make the following wish, there is also no corresponding rain effect in the cockpit. E.g. raindrops on the windshield when you are standing or when you fly through a cloud or when it rains over the planet, a typical rain flight on the windshield would be really awesome.
