Nexus site for The Sims 3

I'm surprised this has not happened yet.

The Sims 3 uses a very simple mod installation framework where you place mods in an override folder.

I think that if the Nexus opened up a site for The Sims 3 and make NMM install and uninstall mods (should not be hard either) then it would become popular quite fast. Also, alot of Sims 3 websites are pay sites which means that the Nexus will be able to use to its advantage to not having any costs for its members to upload things which is what happens with pay sites.

To my knowledge there is no mod manager for The Sims 3 and this is the bane of many custom content users as it hard to install and keep track of mods in the package format.

I think there is an audience on the Nexus for The Sims 3, what do you guys think?

I think you missed this announcement . :P http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1019504-new-file-adding-wizard-tagging-and-more-prominent-content-blocking/

TL:DR

when we finally get around to centralising our database you’ll be able to add a mod for any game ever made to the site
