Tessellation is not a problem with the 7900 cards, there is a optimized setting in the catalyst control center that can be adjusted depending on your card. I usually set it at 4x for optimal performance.

I still will go with a 4GB card imo.

Often I have atleast 1GB full of browser windows or whatever and like to have some free space..

 

think I will get me a 770 though
