Simniac
I have equipped a circlet, helmet, ring, necklace and gauntlets with 29 % fortify alchemy enchantments, and when I try to make a damage poison potion, I get different results from two and two ingredients. Everything I mix of the alchemy ingredients I currently have causes 74 points of poison damage, except the ones mixed with River Betty, then they cause 184 points of poison damage. Are there any other ingredient that increases fortify enchanting and fortify smithing dramatically as well? And is river betty's effects unique or are there other ingredients like that as well? RatcatcherOfKvatch
There are a select few ingredients that stray from the normal rating, but none for Enchanting or Smithing. Deathbells make above-average poisons, but not as good as Betties. Fortify Restoration boosts gear in the Restoration school; Fortify Alchemy and Smithing are both affected. It also works on itself, but taking two FR's in a row is considered an exploit. The best mod ever would be one that causes the player to get really wacked out if FR potions are imbibed less than a minute apart, like you can't move your hands (as with werewolf form or before Ralof unties you) and colors swirl your vision (like Brelyna's green-vision except the colors keep changing). That would be hilarious!
