chrisinnyshotgun
I'm trying to remake the Service Rifle for FO3. I know I know, can't make it and upload it to the Nexus due to legal reasons. My intention is for personal use ONLY, which is allowed by law. What I need help with is how to extract the texture and mesh for the Service Rifle. If someone could help me I'd really appreciate it. Either a simple-to-understand, plain English guide, or even a webpage with the info would be fine. Thank you in advance.
Werne
Use FOMM's BSA Extractor, I use it. It's pretty straight-forward - open the bsa, find the meshes/textures you want to extract, mark then, click extract, navigate to a folder of choice, done. Just don't click "Extract all", it will dump the entire content of the BSA archive you're browsing into the folder you specified, though that's handy sometimes. Note that if you selected more than one file (for example, normal and diffuse maps or several meshes), it will extract the files in a folder structure like the one in the BSA archive, as opposed to extracting them directly to the archive you specified like it does when you're extracting a single file.
