atrenar
If I install any mods using the ME3 Mod Manager, my LE2 game will start to hitch and stutter. The Normandy is a good example.Framerate is fine, but every few seconds it hitches. It seems that having any mods installed causes it, but some are worse than others.Going back to a fresh install cleans it up and hitching and stuttering is gone. Anybody else experiencing this? linkenski
When I'm working on stuff on Normandy in ME3 this sadly happens too, typically when there are tiny misalignments in indexing or otherwise. It can happen for a number of reasons, and typically it's kinda out of the modders hands to know where in the process something has caused it, because we don't have too much feedback when debugging our mods. You should try isolating each mod you have installed to see which one causes the stuttering, then go to their mod page and file it as a bug report. That makes it much easier to solve it. Go to your game folder's DLC folder. \Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME2\BioGame\DLC\ In the DLC folder, take any mod folder that you're going to temporarily disable by renaming its folder with an "x" in front of it or something. If a folder inside "\BioGame\DLC" begins with the prefix of: "DLC" the game will read its files to override what's in the game normally. Our mods should all have the folder name structure of "DLC_MOD_[Name]" so any folder that has the "MOD" part, you take that name and rename it to "xDLC_MOD" and only leave in one mod at a time, (without the x) until you find the one (or the ones) that causes the stuttering. I get that this is a lot to do if your intent was just to play. I'm not really telling you to do it either but if you choose to do this, it will help the mod creators fix their issues. If you decide to do it, please DM me if you have further questions.
DCPKilla
Sorry to necro this old thread but I have the very same issue, and I've determined that it's ANY mod at all that causes frame rate micro stuttering in my Mass Effect 3 LE game. This causes frequent dips from 60 to 55 frames per second whether I'm playing in-game, or just in the menu, and whenever I completely remove the mod or mods the game then runs perfectly smoothly. Whether it's the unofficial patch on Nexus for LE3, or the Immersive Emails mod. It's anything that I install into the game. Does nobody else experience this issue?
