Crashing at Weye

Hi there,

 

There is an issue im having where the area around weye (this includes the lake), when i enter this area my game crashs

 

ive removed the two modifications to weye i have, They are (Weye priory and chapel armoury) and (AFK_Weye)

i noticed on afk weye that it isnt compayible with colourwheels sexy bank, however even without these mods i still crash in this area.

 

below you will see the mods i have in thier load order, (p.s i also have the following plugins for obse, pluggy version 132, Oblivion stutter remover, oblivion crash prevention, fast exit, the jail fix by the UOP (unofficial oblivion patch)

 

i use oblivion mod manager to install mods unless i cannot, and i use BOSS to sort the load list

 

p.s one more thing i noticed the water has gone purple, also Dungeon Bikini is where ive changed some values for the dungeon explorer mod, so its one i created

Ive the following

Sounds like you have some object corrupted in the save game in the cell.

If it is a vanilla oblivion object, I think you only 'fix" is to go back to a save before it was corrupted.

If the object was added by a mod (you can use TES4edit to find which mods affect a cell) then turning off the mod should stop the crash. In some case a uninstall, clean save, and reinstall the mod may let you play the mod again, in some other cases like a corrupted spawn point, a more complex procedure of waiting in the cell for 72 hours before you reinstall may be necessary.

 

The purple water is a missing texture, maybe this is related to your CTD, but I do not know. I do not know all the mods in your order, but I do not see one offhand that should affect the water texture. You might try to install a mod that replaces water textures; if the water is still purple after that then something may have broken the file path.

thanks i will try a water mod, also ive done a complete reinstall with no mods except the unofficial patches and it crashes after the logo loads at startup,

i know this is late but its colourwheels sexy dark brotherhood tested it myself. cant figure out why though

I noticed this post is old but hopefully people still use this mod? has anyone found the answer as to why the dark brotherhood crashes the game at weye?

sadly i have the same problem. once i come near weye my game crashes. I only have cw's sexy oblivion overhaul but the brotherhood armor is handled

by a different mod
