SpringBean
I have CoT Winter, Sounds, ETC. All editions of it, and I have Sounds of Skyrim, all editions of that as well. I know I need to install a patch for compatibility but I'm not sure... How, i've looked everywhere for an installation of the patch and because nobody else seems to wonder how to install the damn thing I feel like I'm missing something real obvious. Help appreciated. 0paque0ccupant
Each Sounds of Skyrim mod has compatibility patches under "Optional Files" Be sure to pick the right ESPs for whatever variation of CoT you're using, otherwise you'll CTD on startup. Seriously is nobody else wondering what to do with the patches? How do I apply the CoT+Sounds of Skyrim patches? TheLordGrizzly
You just take the patch esp and drop them in your data folder. Then find, and check them in the mod manager.

TheLordGrizzly
First manually download the compatibility patches from SoS wilds, dungeons, and civilization. Then one by one open the three and find the compatibility patches that coincide with the version of CoT you have. Then find your Skyrim data folder. This is in your main drive/ steam/ steamapps/ common/ skyrim. Now, just manually drag and drop the patch esps you need into the data folder. Now open the nexus mod manger and these patch esps will be at the bottom of your mod list, activate them and make sure they are bellow SoS and CoT.
