MikefromTexas
Every ENB that seems interesting to me requires that I install ENBSeries by Boris. That'd be fine, but the problem is I can't play F3 if I do that. I'm playing on an Intel processor, which normally wouldn't work, but I've a Mod installed called "Intel Bypass" from Nexus that makes it so my system shows up as an NVIDIA. Game runs great with this Mod, no issues at all. Trouble occurs, when I install ENBSeries. For some reason, somehow, it invalidates Intel Bypass, rendering my game completely unplayable. I'm new to Modding, and so have no real clue where to start resolving this, or if it's even possible. So can I fix this and finally make my game pretty, or am I just s#*! outta luck with ENBs? Preemhelio
I guess you're playing on a built-in processor without a GPU, is that correct? Every Bethesda if not all, uses a software called "Direct3D" which renders the graphics for the game. Direct3D is also a part of Windows. And the ENB replaces the Direct3D components with a custom version, made to support advanced graphical effects. The custom version of Direct3D that ENB loads in your system/game allows you to specify effects like Depth of field, Bloom, Ambient Occlusion, Lighting modifications etc, in a file called "ENB Preset" provided you downloaded ENB made by Boris. So what it basically does to your machine is when you fire up the game, the game will fire up the custom Direct3D library instead of the built-in one for Windows, thus the modifications applies to the game itself, and if your machine can't handle such modifications, well you've got the answer. An Unplayable game. So yes, outta luck for ENB stuffs.

It's the same file that allows your PC to run the game, the Inntel bypass file " in name only is the same name and the ENB file Overwrites that file which is NOT an intel bypass file, it's completely different. There IS no work around. Top prove a point, go to your C:\ drive and search the Entire drive for that file name, you will find the file name all over the place, each program has their own version of that file including the browser.they will not work Either. So No, you can't run ENB series on that machine at all. Kitty Black Edited July 30, 2021 by Purr4me
