Nethellus
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v243/Donad/effect.png Some meshes that I download always ends up looking like that in game. Glowing. Looks even worse in the dark. Switching the textures and normal maps does not help, the mesh always glows. It doesn't seem like they appear like this in other peoples games, so perhaps it has something to do with my computer as well (or my game settings?). I've poked around in with it in NifScope but I don't really know what I'm doing. So does anyone have any ideas? I would really appreciate the help. Nethellus
If this is how glass looks, what is it that makes the game recognize a mesh as made of glass? Whatever that is I would need to remove. And turning off window reflections does sadly not work.
Nethellus
It seems I have found a solution, after reading more about texturing. It did have something to do with window reflections, but I had to turn them ON, not off. But I would still like to know what exactly causes this so that I can change it.
