My game crashes whenever i try to enter Dragonsreach!

I attached a list of my active plugins, i do not think any of them edits Dragonsreach at all though.

Oh and i'm also currently using the latest Beta version of the Unofficial Skyrim patch. 1.3.3 i think.

 

The list has also been sorted by BOSS, but still i get a ctd when trying to enter Dragonsreach, :confused:

disable all mods -> enter dragon's reach

if the game crashes -> restart your computer and try to enter dragon's reach with a new character.

if it still crashes some 3rd party software is either interfering (in which case you can try a diagnostic startup via services.msc) or your having a hardware issue.

 

if however dragon's reach loads your having a mod issue

then select 1 mod at a time and try to enter dragon's reach with a clean (your new character) save file

 

if the game crashes on trying to enter dragon's reach with any 1 mod -> uninstall that mod and let the author know about the issue

if each mod loads dragon's reach individually -> then start loading multiple mods

 

if the game works -> add more until you notice the crash

if/when the game crashes write down all the mods that were active for the crash -> likely a mod conflict, try to narrow it down to exactly which mods are conflicting, notify the authors and choose whether to keep 1 or the other.

if the game doesn't crash perhaps your old save file was corrupted and to blame -> try to keep multiple saves going just encase it happens again.

 

if your computer blows up -> buy a windows machine, mac's suck.

I have been testing now, and it seems to me that the Beta Unofficial Skyrim patch was the culprit. I installed the current version of the USKP and it worked just fine. :confused:

^{I have the same problem with beta version, after getting the dragonstone never got into the whiterun. I installed the current version of the USKP and it worked just fine, too.}

well this is all messed up 1800 HRS of game play and now everytime i return to Dragonsreach with the Dragon Stone the game just hangs on loading into Dragonsreach. I tried everything right down to only having skyrim and no other 3rd party mods including the add-ons dawngard hearthfire ect. the previous 1800hrs has been great over 200 different mods both from nexus and workshop. Sad to say no one has any real solution excet for blaming mod conflict. i have tried every race and gender the same thing happens. i even skiped the main story line joined thieves guild and the dark brotherhood and other factions. so the proble lies in the quest when you return with the Dragon Stone.

 

Well thats the only problem i have.

 

Will this mean the END of Skyrim for me ??? i guess if there is no fix for it, then YES it will be
