Mod Request - Hero Mech Icons (Update please?)

So I am a major Hero Mech collector, I stuff my Cold Storage full of the unique Hero variants and any 'rare' (like SLDF) variants I find.

Before HotIS and the major overhaul of the game engine, there was a mod that changed the Mechlab/cold storage icons of the Hero Mechs to their respective unique looks, as a way to further visually distinguish them from 'normal' variants.

That was this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/mechwarrior5mercenaries/mods/209 which no longer works because of the mass release update and is further deprecated by the addition of other Hero/Unique mechs in the HotIS expansion.

I have absolutely zero modding experience (despite trying VERY hard, I just cannot wrap my head around it), and it would be AMAZING if someone could revisit this mod type and bring it to the current generation of the game.
