Scripting a follower help. (urgent)

I labelled this as urgent because I only have 13 more hours to work on this mod before I leave for some 4th of July thing. I don't want to go, but I'm going anyway, and I'd like to get this working before I leave because otherwise it's going to bother me the whole time.

 

Okay.

 

I'm scripting my first quest. I've made a few other mods, but never anything complex. Just texture mods and simple things for requests.

I've already created a working NPC with unique dialogue and a quest. The quest and everything works, and it's able to be completed perfectly. However, I want the NPC to become a follower after the quest is completed, and I can't figure out how to do that.

 

Do I need to have the NPC is the current follower and potential follower factions, and simply manipulate the disposition to make them a follower after the quest?

Do I need to do something with an AI package to make them a follower?

Is there some script command I can attach to a quest stage to make them a follower?

Do I need to do something else entirely?

 

I'd appreciate any help or push in the right direction. I simply don't know how to make the NPC a permanent follower only after the quest is done.

Nevermind, I compared Eola to my follower, and I was able to figure out which scripts and factions to use. It works now.
