eagle52361
Hello I got Sharpshooter (original) EMB and have been trying to get Ambient Occlusion to work. I found a few things online to turn in on in the skyrim.ini and I looked in the enbseries file as well and turned them on, but nothing. Is AO for skyrim an nvidia only thing at all? I have seen posts that you turn it on in the nvidia control panel.I ask that since I run with AMD Radeon HD 6870Thank you for reading and any help that you might be able to provide. Sigurd44
You won't find an ambient conclusion setting in the normal Skyrim launcher options settings. Skyrim by default does not support that setting (no idea about your ENB though, I don't use one). As you already mentioned, it's a "Nvidia only thing", but should be set to on for AMD cards too (but don't ask me how this is named there). You have two possibilites for Geforce cards: -Nvidia Control Panel: You are able to create an Elder Scrolls Skyrim preset there, where you are able to activate ambient occlusion and set it to "quality" as max.-Nvidia Inspector: You will find an Elder Scrolls Skyrim preset there and you are able to set ambient occlusion even to "high quality". Just as a warning, high quality (although it looks really nice with good lighting mods) sucked 20fps indoors for me, aka I think it's not worth it, but quality is nice and more than enough in my opinion.
