To create the ultimate zombie mod, as the title states. I've been a lurker here for around five (six?) years now, rarely post, endorse the greats, yadda yadda. I do believe this is my first post on the forums, however. Still, I'm hoping you guys can help me out here.I'm looking for input right now. I'm thinking we can make addictions the infection, where it cripples your stats. Maybe incorporate crippled limbs as well. We also have radiation, which we might be able to tweak into a more deadly virus. I'm looking for some brainstorming here. Anyone willing to help will be greatly appreciated. You can even put your name on it, I don't care about getting recognition. I just want my ultimate zombie survival game. I'm aware New Vegas would probably work better for this, as I also want to add in hunger and thirst, making scavenging a necessity. I want to remove every NPC (maybe leave a few as questgivers, but they'll be in the designated safe zones, which might also get overrun from time to time), and replace them all with zombies, special zombies, etc. Anyone willing to contibute their mods to mine will be given credit, and I will do the work of making them compatible or merging them. Also worth noting that this mod will take months to create, if not longer, as I've got a very busy schedule. All ideas and advice will be reviewed with my current partner, and we'll decide if it needs to be implemented or not. I'm still not 100% sure how to go about all this, I just have the general idea. DC is the perfect zombie wasteland, and with a darker night, redone cities, and a lot of rescripting, this game will make for a perfect zombie apocalypse.Things I want to see:Should we make certain weapons a 100% spawnShould we leave in Raiders to add to the deadlinessShould the zombies attack the raidersHow many zombies should spawn in one area at a timeShould we have crawlers, runners, etc.How could we get the perfect infection goingWhat should the signs be for spotting an infected NPCShould the virus be airborne and spread to those near infected NPC'sShould we try and add online play to make this an MMO type gameBasically, I need help figuring out the details. The big picture is already there, and whether I get help from other teams or not, this will become a reality. So pitch in and help make this the best zombie apocalypse game EVER! As for the MMO part, I'm pretty sure I can make that happen. Myself and a few people far more tech savvy than I are going to work on it and see what we can do, but for now it's an option. VATS will have to go, and the Pip-Boy may take a leave as well, replaced by a backpack or something. It may not be pretty at first, but it'll work if we really bust some rear. I think. Therefore i'm going to explain on somethings to justify logically why it's needed or i'll say something because i believe it'd be interesting or both an interesting necessity... 1) Ok that's difficult but I still firmly to believe in safe heavens but definitely get some zombie horde attacks in the settlements somehow, but in large area's preferably the zombie attacks should either be where many npcs go outside and try to hold them off i. e. rivet city (because the market place is too small) but with megaton, paradise falls, and the citadel as soon as you walk inside but just as soon as you get near a settlement under siege a alarm goes off or something of that nature, also if you can't kill off some settlements then make many continuous random encounters or small settlements' i.e. abandoned barn houses 4 or just small settlements like a neighborhood even. 2) Yes, there's always going to be criminals looking for a way to save themselves. 3) Yes zombies eat humans always! 4) This depends on how strong you make them and where they are at D.C. a lot, metros a lot, but by a satelite dish not so many ect. 5) I like a variety yet have a small one i like more of a arm up from a limp to a fast walk to a stumble run to sprint or just some walk some run either way 6) Hear me out, Enclave tested on fema patients as one just a thought it's not my favorite but a thought jogger,2nd pretty obvious feral ghouls have become so genetically mutated that even their bites will infect you 3rd (my favorite) BoS huge fight with super mutants in a highly radioactive area the BoS win the fight yet it was a blood bath and their armor is coated with the blood and take it from there... or they were apart of a great paladin who travelled back to a very important meeting with idk raiders to settle something enclave to sign a treaty outcast for an allaince or a settlement/BoS base and once they arrive for some R&R they go to shower the blood off of them for armor was destroyed scraches across the face blood in a few mouths and now take it from here 7) I would say becoming less cognitive or just more clumsy or pale, easy symptoms unless you change like I color but teeth don't automatically turn black.... 8) Kinda combined with 6. 9) No this should be a great single player mod just include some npc commands and it'll be amazing!
