Dell A525 30 Watt 2.1 Stereo Speakers with Subwoofer Can my rig handle it? I hope so because I can wait to dive into oblivion mods and maybe try my hands make a couple and see if i can do it. Is this in the right section I dont wanna seem like a comeplete stodge I made it my mission to make sure I didn't get the horriable intel intergrated graphics card.

If you mean weak link has in the graphics wont be the best that not a real problem I played the xbox verision so my standards are low or will it run like crap. And what to you mean my options are limited could you give me ideas of better compatible video cards.Because this is the game is the one I run on this computer i dont plan on running crysis I wait till I can save the money for an alienware. No dell cant change it becasue the only other option is the craptastic intel intergrated media acellerator i rather have limited upgrade capabilties than 0 with a intergrated card. These are the games i really wanted to run:

1.Oblivion

2.deus ex invisible war

3.doom 3

4.half life 2 which ran on a laptop with a intel craptastic but was slow cause its a RAM parasite from what i read

5.maybe fallout 3 if at all possible but i wouldnt be to upset if i couldn't

Here is a link to a thread on the official forums. Guys who know a lot more than me about computer hardware have listed video cards according to how well they run Oblivion. You can find that HD3450 on the list.

http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.ph...p;hl=video+card

If you ever want to put in a better video card yourself, the small computer case will limit your choices. The small case means you have to use a low profile (half height) card. The low profile selection is more limited than the selection of full size cards. There are better low profile cards than the HD3450 out there that you can buy later if you want to.

Dell power supplies (PSUs) are good quality and will allow some upgrading from the original video card. As you get to the higher range cards, your PSU won't be adequate though. If you ever want to install a new PSU in the small computer case, you'll have some of the same problems with the limited selection of PSUs that will fit.

I'm not sure how those other games will run. I would do some googling with the game name and the card name together if I were you.

Might as well take a crack at it.

First, screw Dell, forever, they have recently (about the past one or two years) been full of crap, they have horrible customer support and the Pc's are overheating and breaking like mad for some reason, and its sad to see such an awesome company fall like that.

If your going to be buying a new pc, with a budget of...we can say $500 I guess? (if it is lower I can drop =3) Then skip Dell and either...

BUILD the pc YOUR SELF

Or buy from Custom Power PC.

Or Just stick with Dell and hope with the best.

I build my Rig, its amazing, I can run Call of Duty 4 and Crysis on Max settings while still in the upper 40fps and all for less then $500 bucks

If your still going to buy from Dell, Then a Good set up, would be this.

A MID TOWER Form factor case, with ATX Motherboards (important)

The Hard drive really does not matter to much, reuse your old one if you can, otherwise, 250gb is a good start

A Intel Core2 Duo e8550 would be nice, just go down the list from E8550 to say E2550 for your price point, they will all work and are awesome!

That or a AMD Athlon 5200+ I use it, IT is win =3

The GPU or Graphics card is one the most important pieces of hardware in a gaming rig, without a decent one, you're games will either lack or not run at all.

The BOTTOM LINE is a Geforce 7900 Seriously, go below that, and your screwed.

For AMD, I'm not sure, I really don't use AMD cards so much, since they overheat like mad

And at least 2gb of memory, that is the norm today, But I get 4 gigs since I always have a rebate handy =3 DDr2 800mhz memory would be best.

Then you have the other things like the dvd drive on the monitor, just re use that stuff if you want, I did....works fine...

Now you can try and get that from Dell, but they will usually over charge it, prepare to pay...a lot but if your going the route I PRAY you take, build it, you can be playing games made 10 years from now on the highest quality, for less then 500 bucks...I can help out if you want =3

Cheers

since it's midranged it should be good for now until I can get the money to get a high-end gameing computer like an alien-ware I will take what i can get as long as doesn't run like comeplete crap and really slow and graphics aint a big deal for me and can wait for when i can get an alien-ware or other top of the line gaming computer or go custom but I couldn't build it myself for the life of me. I played a console verision so medium graphics will probly be gorgeous.
