CTD on loading

This past week, Skyrim has been crashing when I try to load it. It doesn't matter whose save I load--it crashes almost every time. (It does seem to work better with lower level characters sometimes. )

 

So far I have tried:

 

the sound fix

the grid fix

BOSS order

Wryebash

TES5edit cleaning

 

And ordering my mods according to this thread:

So far nothing has really worked. I tried ordering them by hand and it seemed to work at first--then I loaded one of the glitchier games as a test and the problem returned. There are no error messages saying the saves are corrupted--just an immediate and silent CTD. It doesn't happen consistently--they load maybe one out of four or five times--from the start screen. But once I manage to load one save, any other save loads just fine from there.

 

Has anyone had a similar problem, are there any known solutions? Is this a save corruption issue or a load order issue? Also, here's my BOSS load order if anyone has any suggestions.

What you describe is mostly related to Animations (perhaps you forgot to run FNIS in a while) and/or removal/reinstall of mods on an active game (save).

 

Can you try this... start a new game, play around... dunno, go to riverwood after helgen or something... save your game, close the program and open it again, and try and load the save?

I have removed a few mods on active saves, but not very often. Maybe 2 or 3. I tried starting a new character, and he gets a different kind of crash--he loads and and then a couple of seconds later crashes. Other saves are still the same though--occasionally loading, then playing normally once loaded.

I am having similar problems.

Would like to see a resolution.

 

So far I have uninstalled ALL animation mods (except for 2 that were manual installs, I cant figure out how to completely get rid of those, other then deactivation the esp) and a few of the recent additions.

Also while most of the mods were still active I tried to make a new character to see, started shifting presets and got an ugly body where only the face was fine (body like a ghoul from Fallout).

 

So I will in the next day verify my game cache, and start reinstalling the mods, and using BOSS.
