Can't use Lings hair on Veronica or Cassidy?

I was trying to use the Geck to add Lings hair to Cassidy and Veronica so I loaded up the geck, set Fallout NV, Lings, and NV Redesigned as masters and edited their looks and hair to how i wanted them. i made two separate esps for each of them.

With Cassidy I can change her looks, but her hair turns into the short female hair. With Veronica if I try to change her looks she looks really weird and goes bald, I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, anyone know how to fix this?

I'm using Lings 4.2 (not sure if there's a newer version anywhere) and everything else is up to date.
