Issue with Mythic Dawn Armor mod

Hi guys,

 

Long story short, my whole body goes invisible when equipping this armor. I'm not sure where the problem is but I hope you guys can help. This was the first time I've attempted to manually install a mod, I usually just use NMM or Steam. I copied the .esp file to the data folder, and the respective meshes into the meshes folder, script into the scripts folder, and textures into the textures folder. I can give a mod list if its relevant. BTW this mod is not from Nexus, but I just trust your guys advice better.Thanks.

There's not much if anything we can do to figure out why your having the problem without having access to the mod to test.

 

I suppose if your familiar with CK, do you notice a secondary effect on the spell which has invisibility attached to it? or perhaps a script on the spell effect which applies an invisibility effect?

 

Does your body become visible when you attack something?

Could that be the author's intention?

 

Have you tried to isolate your problem by disabling all other mods and seeing if this problem still occurs?

 

Realistically, there's a lot of potential causes of something like this, and you haven't exactly given us too much to work off of. I wish I could be more of a help.

The armor doesn't have any spells associated with it (such as invisibility), and Its in my inventory but the 3D model isn't there. When I equip it, anything else I already had equipped (such as sword, mask, circlet) is still visible, but my body becomes invisible. Attacking doesn't change the effect.

 

The author also stated in the description that it is possible to add the armor via the console and the item id obtained by using the command help "Mythic Dawn Armor". I haven't attempted disabling all other mods and then trying it, partly because I have a lot installed. I was wondering if the problem might be where I copied all of the files. As I stated in my OP, I've never installed a mod manually before so installation may have been a problem. If any one has the time to try the mod and report back I'd really appreciate it. Check out the pics on the mod page, it looks awesome if I could get it to work!
