Wachovian
How do I un-join a guild? Or can you?
Photanekon
do something like attack someone in the guild or get caught stealing from the guild
Malchik
Why would you want to? Just don't do their quests. And no, you can't unjoin as such, getting expelled means you are still a member, strange though it may seem! If you want to change Great House it is possible if you are on PC to join another using the console. You still stay a member of the first and can do both lots of quests. (Indeed you can end up leader of all three!) This is not possible on xbox.
Torn
Yea, why would you want to leave a guild in the first place? There are no negative effects from being in a guild (that I can think of anyways) You don't have to do their quests like Malchik said... What's not possible on Xbox? I don't suppose it matters much though, I have the Xbox version...
Diabolic_Wizard
i think joining to imperial legions has one very serious negative effect. you cannot even talk with a legion soldier without your uniform. sometimes, it can be very boring if you had to speak with a soldier to gain info about a quest. Malchik
You only need the cuirass and the Lord's Mail will do very nicely.
Eiade
There are positive and negative effects from joining any guild. It affects how other guilds think of you. For instance, if you are in the mages guild, all Telvanni members recieve a -3 on their disposition towards you (how much they like you), and all temple members get a -2. But the fighters guild and theives guild get +1, and all other mage guild members get +3 towards you (makes sense).
Torn
I've started to discover the negatives now since my last post. I haven't really played that long and during this quest for the Fighter's Guild I had to get this item from a thief guild member... getting frustrated and such I ended up killing her and getting expelled from the guild... Going to try and get back in so I can get the Bounty taken off my head B) Hope they don't attack me
Malchik
Well usually they forgive you once but there is a possible problem with that particular quest. Let us know the outcome.
Diabolic_Wizard
torn, i think you mean "code book" quest...well, if you have a sneak skill aprox. 100, you can get the book.but there are other ways also...don't kill the guild member, never!just for now, don't do anymore fighters guild quest, concentrate on thives guild quests, soon, you will see the way to take that book...
