[Mod Request] decrease/deactivate fire graphics

Hi guys, I am new to the forum, but I've tried some mods over the last few weeks and they do make the game so much more enjoyable.

 

I do have one issue, I have an older computer and while I am above the "required" specs I am at or below the "recommended" specs. As such, multiple fires burning near each other lags me to death (It is also a problem in blizzards in the mountains).

 

Is there a mod which can reduce the quality of fires burning, so they are less graphics demanding (like shortening the grass, etc.)? I know it won't look as good, but it would be significantly more playable. After building one grey dwarf farm I realized I cannot farm grey dwarfs with fire, my lag is so bad I cannot jump on a ladder!

 

TLDR; looking for a mod that decreases the graphics requirements of fire (even if it freezes them to a single static picture).
