saamziel
ok general goal is to make a laser rifle use action points instead of ammo is there anyway to do this? and if so can you help me scripting is my downfall?
skippythebeep
I'm no scripting expert myself, but I would say that your goal would take very advanced scripting. This is a total shot in the dark, but I'm guessing that the AP is Fallouts version of the elderscrolls "Magicka". So it might be possible to have the game treat firing the weapon almost as a spell would be in Oblivion. Of course this is all assuming that when Bethesda modified the Oblivion game engine, they used the coding that was used for magicka to make the VATS AP system. Once again, this is total speculation.
