the windowed mode fixed my crashing issues, but why are there crashes in fullscreen in the first place? this doesn't make sense

 

also does the maximum window mod just fill the edges with black clolor?

 

Well there is a difference with the way DirectX is drawing the image when the game is in windowed mode, because it has to draw it alongside the Windows desktop. Why this is causing crashes is up to Bethesda to find out.

 

The MaximizedWindow mod doesn't look any different than the regular full-screen mode. No black borders or anything.

 

hmm how come when i play i got black borders plz help i put 10 1680 1050 in the end of maximized window shortcut and 1680x1050 is my native resolution

my ingame resolution is 1280x800 in windowed mode

 

well to run fullscreen you have to set your in game resolution to 1680x1050 then use the maximized windowed mod, this should help

tried and worked, but is there any way to make the resolution smaller? it really lags with 1680x1050
