Static model movement

Does anybody know if it is possible to move a static model, via a script.

 

What my aim is to do is have sign rotate around a central object, Like the earth rotates around the sun if you know what I mean.

Not being a modeller myself if i imported the signs into blender and attached them to a basic sphere and set the sphere to be the center point, I should be able to create a looping circular motion ? If so how far up the experience curve is this if I wanted to do it myself, not knowing anything about it ?

dunno bout blender lol...

but basicly you just move the thing around and set keyframes for each key position... then export it as kf with nif... the "in-program" creation of the animation shouldnt be the problem but the export might be. dunno how far the blender tools are.

 

i made an oblivion test mod with some of these special effects included where you might check out how such a nif looks in the end: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=20519

the egg and the crystal all are animated statics (mind they are for oblivion)

or you try to find somin from vanill oblivion like the megaton gate

@jaysus Oblivion has a Megaton? hehe j/k had to razz you for that one :D

 

now as far as a movable static would it be maybe better to make your static object into a Movable object? i know in the MOD i am working on now I made a door that looks like a bed :D but wouldn't begin to know how to get it to move around hehe. just thought the idea of making it into a movable object would make what your trying to do a little easier.
