shininku Posted July 7, 2013 Share Posted July 7, 2013 Ok, so I was trying to avoid this, but I can't quite seem to figure it out. After returning the thing to Septimus, he tells you to go harvest blood. I looked up and saw Mora, and remembered what this quest was. I decided I didn't want to serve a daedric prince this playthrough (thank you to No Forced Quests); so right after getting the vial, I turned and killed Septimus. This instantly failed the quest and Mora vanished from the exit. I threw away the things he gave me and went on my righteous way. However, the issue is that on the required quests, falmer, orcs, bosmer, etc, I now permanently have the option to harvest their blood. I don't have the thing Septimus gave me, and the quest is already failed. It's really only a minor inconvenience, but I would greatly appreciate it if someone has a fix, because I no longer have a savegame prior to killing him, therefore I cannot undo it. Moraevik Posted July 22, 2013 Share Posted July 22, 2013 Heh ... I have the opposite problem. The game never actually gives me the necessary perk once I have the extractor. I'll bet, though, that the following command will fix your problem: player.removeperk 79af5 This should remove the offending perk and let you get on with your body looting without having to deal with the option to harvest blood, since it's the inverse of what I have to do to give myself the perk. If you're on a gaming console, though, I think your save game is permanently bugged, since you have no way to issue this command.
