greekrage
Hi all..Blame my old age and lack off blood oxygen i tend to forget how i did stuff 3 years ago... I have a couple of "test" esp's that i used to travel the commonwealth and gather assets to use in my mods. (buildings mostly)I would basically grab a whole building and make it into a static collection and then break it up in my test cell and repair, modify, rebuild it etc..to use in one of my location mods.Thing is i cant remember how to use it without requiring my test esp to be loaded when using the location mod esp..I tried breaking it up and then play without the "test" esp but half the parts where missing...Should i break it in the new location and then remake into a scol and rebreak it up so that it becomes part of the mod ?Will that work ?Basically i need to make the new building free of external references and dependencies but part of its new "home".. DieFeM
I would make a copy of the scol by just renaming it and selecting the option to create a new object, unless the scol contains objects that only exist in the test esp, your mod should not require the test esp to use the duplicated scol. niston
You can export SCOL as NIF. Shouldn't have any dependencies then.
